John Comyn 
John was born in 1146 in Altyre, Morayshire, Scotland. John's father was Richard Comyn and his mother was Hextilda Tynedale. His paternal grandparents were William Comyn and Maude Banaster; his maternal grandparents were Huctred Tynedale and Bethoe Princess of Scotland Dane. He had four brothers and a sister, named Odo (Odinell), Simon, David, William and Idonea. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 13 in 1159.-
