Harold of Wessex 
Harold was born in 1066 in England.1 Harold's father was Harold II Godwineson King of England and his mother was Ealdgyth "Swan-neck" (of England). His paternal grandparents were Godwin of Wessex Earl of Wessex & Kent and Gytha Thorkilsdottir; his maternal grandparents were Morcar of Northumbria and Ealdgyth (Edgitha) of Mercia. He had a brother and a sister, named Ulf and Gytha. He was the youngest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Edward the Outlaw.-
