Judith of the West Franks 
Judith was born in 0844 in France.1 Judith's father was Charles II the Bald King of West Franks and her mother was Ermentrude de Orléans. Her paternal grandparents were Louis I the Pious de Aquitaine King of France and Judith the Fair of Bavaria; her maternal grandparents were Vodon (Odo) de Orléans Ct de Orléans and Ingeltrude de Orléans. She had a brother and a sister, named Louis II the Stammerer and Ermentrude (Hersent). She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-sister named Rothild. She died at the age of 26 in 0870.2 General Notes
