Richard was born about 1250 in , Herefordshire, England.1 Richard's father was Gilbert de Talbot and his mother was Gwenllian verch Rhys. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Talbot and Aliva Bassett; his maternal grandparents were Rhys Mechyll ap Rhys Gryg Lord Dynevor and Maud de Braose. He was an only child. He died about September 3rd, 1306 in Eccleswall, Gloucestershire, England.1 -
