Avaline de Clare 
Avaline was born in 1172 in of Hereford, Herefordshire, England.1 Avaline's father was Roger de Clare the Good Earl of Hereford and her mother was Maud de St. Hilary. Her paternal grandparents were Richard FitzGilbert de Clare Lord Clare and Alice de Gernons le Meschines; her maternal grandparents were James de St. Hilary and Aveline (de St. Hillary). She had a brother and a sister, named Richard FitzRoger de and Mabel. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named William de Albini V, William and Agnes (Avice). She died at the age of 53 on June 4th, 1225.1 -
