Thomas was born in 1670 in PA.1   Thomas' father was Joseph Yard and his mother was Mary Salisbury.  His paternal grandparents were George Yarde and Elizabeth Pearse. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, William, John, James, Benjamin, George, Mary and Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 25 in 1695 in NJ.1
