Abel Willey 
Abel was born in 1709 in Lyme, New London, CT. Abel's father was Isaac Willey and his mother was Rose Bennett. His paternal grandparents were John Willey and Miriam Moore; his maternal grandparents were Henry Bennett and Sarah Champion. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Isaac, John, Ephraim, Zachariah, Sarah, Hannah, Rachel, Meriam, Dorothy and Deborah. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 43 in October 1752 in Haddam, Middlesex, CT.-
