Jane was born in 1710 in Exeter, Washington, RI.1 Jane's father was John Wightman and her mother was Jane Bentley. Her paternal grandparents were George Wightman and Elizabeth Updyke; her maternal grandparents were William Bentley and Sarah Leithfield. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, James, Vallentine, Alice, Sarah, Mary and Deborah. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died in West Greenwich, Kent, RI.1 -
