Daniel Wightman 
Daniel was born in 1668 in RI.1 Daniel's father was George Wightman and his mother was Elizabeth Updyke. His paternal grandparents were John Wightman and Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Gysbert Opdendyck and Catherine Smith. He had four brothers and three sisters, named George, John, Samuel, Valentine, Elizabeth, Alice and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the eight children.-
