Temperance Francis was born on May 24th, 1844 in North Aurora, Kane, IL.1 Temperance Francis' father was John Stolp and her mother was Lydia Barton. Her paternal grandparents were George Stolp and Catherine Stall. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Orlando Caleb, Ebenezer Turner, George Byron, Rufus Sweeting, Levi Ward, John Norman, Louisa Barton, Mary Ellen, Sarah Culver, Catherine Maria and Elizabeth Tripp. She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 86 in 1930 in Aurora, Kane, IL.1 -
