Elizabeth Tripp was born on February 18th, 1842 in North Aurora, Kane, IL.1 Elizabeth Tripp's father was John Stolp and her mother was Lydia Barton. Her paternal grandparents were George Stolp and Catherine Stall. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Orlando Caleb, Ebenezer Turner, George Byron, Rufus Sweeting, Levi Ward, John Norman, Louisa Barton, Mary Ellen, Sarah Culver, Catherine Maria and Temperance Francis. She was the third youngest of the twelve children.-
