Benjamin Franklin was born in 1832 in , Fayette, PA.1 Benjamin Franklin's father was Jesse Province and his mother was Cecelia Spencer. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Yard Province and Elizabeth Casto; his maternal grandparents were Nathan Spencer and Rachel Reed Spencer. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named John William, Joseph Yard, Jesse Spencer, David, James, Thomas, Uriah, Nathan, Amida, Amelia, Celie Ann, Susannah, Rebecca and Mary Matilda. He was the sixth oldest of the fifteen children.-
