Joseph Mather 
Joseph was born in 1634 in England.1 Joseph's father was Richard Mather and his mother was Katherine Hoult. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Margarite Unknown; his maternal grandfather was Edmund Holt. He had five brothers named Samuel, Timothy, Nathaniel, Eleazer and Increase. He was the third youngest of the six children.
