Sigebert I de Austrasia was born about 0535 in of Metz, Austrasia, France.1 Sigebert I de Austrasia's father was Chlothar I the Old of the King of Franks and his mother was Ingonde (Radegond) von Thuringia. His paternal grandparents were Clovis I (Chlodovech) Magnus King of Franks and St. Chrotechilde (Clothilde) de Burgundy; his maternal grandfather was Berthar Half King of Thuringia. He had two brothers named Chilperic I of the Franks and Charibert I of the Franks. He was the youngest of the three children. He died in Metz, Austrasia, France.1 -
