Elihu Hurlbut

Elihu was born in 1814 in Hanover, Grafton, NH.¹   Elihu's father was David Hurlbut and his mother was Gratia Taylor. He had two brothers and five sisters, named David, John Taylor, Gratia, Betty, Mary, Betsey and Hannah.  He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named Nathaniel.
