William Holeman 
William was born about 1816 in , Wilkes, NC. William's father was William Holeman and his mother was Charity Ferguson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Holeman and Margaret Southerland; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Ferguson and Edith Foster. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Enoch, Thomas, James, John Henry, Lydia, Charlotte, Asa, Eda, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died about 1869 in TN.-
