Susannah was born in 1760. Susannah's father was Thomas Holeman and her mother was Susannah York. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Holeman and Elizabeth Unknown. She had four brothers and two sisters, named James, Jacob, Isaac, Reuben, Elizabeth and Margaret. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Daniel, Thomas, Isaac, Rachel, Rebecca and Grace.-
