James Griffee 
James was born in 1739 in , Litchfield, CT. James' father was Thomas Griffee and his mother was Sarah Borden. His paternal grandparents were John Griffee and Isabel Willey. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Daniel, Sarah, Isabel and Mary. He was the youngest of the seven children.-
