Roger de Quincy was born about 1174 in Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 Roger de Quincy's father was Saher de Quincy IV Earl of Winchester and his mother was Margaret de Beaumont. His paternal grandparents were Robert de Quincy Lord Buckley and Orabilia de Leuchars Cts de Mar; his maternal grandparents were Robert de Beaumont III Earl of Leicester and Petronilla de Grentmesnil. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Robert, Arabella and Hawise. He died on April 25th, 1264 in England.1 General Notes
