Hugh de Audley was born about 1267 in of Stratton Audley, Oxfordshire, England.1 Hugh de Audley's father was James de Audley and his mother was Ela Longespée. His paternal grandparents were Henry de Aldithley and Bertred Mainwaring; his maternal grandparents were William Longespée II Earl of Salisbury and Idonea de Camville. He had a brother named Nicholas. He was the younger of the two children. He died in 1325.1 -
