Mary was born on December 8th, 1726 in Voluntown, New London, CT.1 Mary's father was Ebenezer Dow and her mother was Martha Harris. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Dow and Susannah Hill; her maternal grandparents were Ebenezer Harris and Rebecca Clark. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Benjamin, Nathan, Aaron, Nathan, Ebenezer, Hannah and Rebecca.-
