Jacob Chrysler

Jacob was born in 1766 in NY.¹   Jacob's father was Wilhemus Chrysler and his mother was Catherine Schauer.  His paternal grandparents were Johannes Chrysler and Anna Eva Catherina Monk; his maternal grandparents were Johan Adam Schauer and Maria Elisabetha Fritz. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Hanse John, Adam, George, Catrina, Margaret, Elizabeth, Barbara and Hannah.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
