Nathaniel Carter was born in 1752.1 Nathaniel Carter's father was John Cheney and his mother was Keziah Kendall. His paternal grandparents were John Cheney and Mary Chute. He had a brother and a sister, named Ralph and Hester. He was the youngest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Tristram, John, Elias and Elizabeth.-
