Edith was born about 1875.1 Edith's father was Asa Bacon Cary and her mother was Laura M Colby. Her paternal grandparents were James Benajah Cary and Mary Bacon Adams; her maternal grandfather was S B Colby. She had a brother named Edward Colby. She was the younger of the two children.-
