Asa Cary 
Asa was born in 1774 in Mansfield, Tolland, CT.1 Asa's father was Nathaniel Cary and his mother was Sarah Sargent. His paternal grandparents were Jabez Cary and Hannah Hendee. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Barzillia, John, Eleazer, Jerusha and Hannah. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had three half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Nathaniel, Prosper, Persis, Mary, Delight, Dorcas, Lucretia, Sibel and Sarah. He died at the age of 88 on September 15th, 1862 in Racine, WI.1 -
