Janet was born on November 30th, 1873. Janet's father was Thomas Beggs and her mother was Sarah Marie Brown. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Beggs and Janet (Jennie) Magee. She had two brothers named Robert and Sylas. She was the oldest of the three children.-
