Hugh Lorne was born in 1890. Hugh Lorne's father was William John Beggs and his mother was Carry McCoy. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Beggs and Mary Robinson. He had two brothers and a sister, named Byron Pettis, Merle and Mary Theora. He was the second youngest of the four children.-
