Roger de Mortimer was born in 1158 in England.1 Roger de Mortimer's father was Hugh de Mortimer Baron Wigmore and his mother was Maud le Meschines. His paternal grandparents were Ralph de Mortimer and Melisenda of Mers; his maternal grandparents were William le Meschines Lord Copeland and Cecily de Rumilly. He had a half-sister named Alice. He died at the age of 57 on June 24th, 1215 in Wigmore, Hereford, England.2 -
