Leopold III "the Saint" was born about 1084 in of Klosterneuburg, Niederoesterreic, Austria.1 Leopold III "the Saint"'s father was Leopold II von Oesterreich and his mother was Sophia (Agnes) of Germany. His paternal grandparents were Ernst "the Valiant" von Oesterreich and Adelheid von Ostmark; his maternal grandparents were Henry III of Germany King of Germany and Agnes de Poitou de Aquitaine. He was an only child. He died on November 15th, 1136.1 -
