Mrs. Amanda S. Sease

Mrs. Amanda Shealy Sease, 92, of Rt. 2, Lexington, died Thursday in a
local nursing home.

She was born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late Walter and Ellen
Ballentine Shealy. Mrs. Sease was the widow of W. Crosson Sease.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Strang of Springfield, Ill.,
and Mrs. Kathleen Looney of Columbia; three sons, Ray Sease of Anderson,
Earl Sease of West Columbia and Armand Sease of Lexington; 12
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church,
conducted by the Rev. Otto Reenstjerna and the Rev. Dr. Milton Frick.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Caughman-Harman Funeral Home is in charge.

The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to St.
Stephen's Lutheran Church.
