Gilbert--Services for James Lohr "Joe" Price, 74, of 2621 Priceville
Road, will be held at 4:30 pm Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be from 5-7 tonight at Barr-Price Funeral Home of
Batesburg-Leesville. Memorials may be made to the church.
Mr. Price died Sunday, Sept 14, 1997. Born in Lexington County, he was a
son of the late Jimmy K. and Sallie Sease Price. He was a member of St.
Paul's Lutheran Church, the Lexington Masonic Lodge, the American Legion,
and the LST 603 Ship Reunion Association. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of
World War II, and was retired from Murray Tractor Company.
Surviving are wife, Carolyn Keisler Price; brothers, J.C. Price of
Batesburg-Leesville and Grady Lee Price of White Rock; and sisters,
Magdalene Metts of Batesburg-Leesville and Loree Taylor of Waynesboro, Ga.
