R. Edgar Amick
Newberry - Services for R. Edgar Amick, 81, are at 2 p.m. today at Summer
Memorial Lutheran Church, with burial in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
Whitaker Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Amick died Thursday. He a son of the late R. Early and Chole Shealy
Amick. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Long Amick; daughters and son-in-law,
Carol A. Binkley, Darlene A. and Simpson Eargle, Wanda Amick; son and
daughter-in-law, Robert L. and Carole Amick; sisters, Ruth Shealy,
Kathryn McEntire; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild. He was
predeceased by his sister, Aliene Reeves, and his son-in-law, Daniel W.
Bickley.
