including Aldingbourne and Compton in Sussex and Crondall in Hampshire.

892: King Alfred gave him another property "aet North Nivetune on afene"
identified as North Newnton on the river Avon in Wiltshire.

894: one of the three military leaders who immobilized and defeated the

Archbishop of Canterbury who was consecrated in 919 and who died 8 Jan
