Laban Sease
Gilbert - Services for Laban Eber Sease, 95, of 733 Spool Wheel Rd., will
be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 1997, at St. Paul's Lutheran
Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. George T. Moore will
officiate. Active Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbears
will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to
St. Paul's Lutheran Church Roof Fund. Visitation is 6-8 tonight at
Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Mr. Sease, widower of Edith Long Sease, died Monday, December 29, 1997.
Born in Lexington County, he was a son of the late Henry Sabastian and
Mary Catherine Shealy Sease. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran
Church and was a life member of the Lutheran Church Men. He was one of
hte founders of the Hollow Creek Community Club, a life member of the
Ruritan Club, and was a member of the Farm Bureau.
Surviving are sons, Henry Jacob Sease and Homer P. Sease, both of
Gilbert,Robert David Sease of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and James Edwin
Sease of McDonough, Ga.; daughters, Rebekah Tinman of Florence, Patricia
Tinman of Cayce, Nancy Tinman of West Columbia, and Nell Hair of
Summerville; 24 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.[Sease#2.FTW]
