RESEARCH NOTES:
the name of the wife of Cynan at Iago, her parentage, and her mother's
parentage are known only from _Hanes Gruggudd ap Cynan_ of which the
earliest manuscript is mid-13th century; although reservations have been
sometimes express regarding this information, enough of the data from the
pedigrees of Radnillt are verified in Irish sources that I am inclined to
