Herbert Koon
North Charleston - Services for Herbert R. Koon, 74, will be held at 11
a.m. Friday at Advent Lutheran Church with burial in Carolina Memorial
Gardens. J. Henry Stuhr is in charge.
Mr. Koon died the evening of Monday, March 6, 2000 in a Charleston
hospital. Born in Chapin, he was a son of Willie F. Koon and Carrie
Shealy Koon. He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church. He was a U.S.
Army veteran and a retired machinist.
Surviving are his sons, Herbert Koon Jr. of Walterboro, James Koon of
Gastonia, N.C.; brother, Albert Koon of Chapin; five grandchildren.
