Leona Cannon

Little Mountain - Services for Leona E. Canon, recently of J.F. Hawkins
Nursing Home, Newberry, will be held at 3 p.m. today at St. Peter
Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will
receive friends in the Fellowship Hall of the church one hour prior to
services. McSwain-Evans Funeral Home is in charge. Memorials may be
made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 900 Dreher Island Road, Chapin 29036.

Miss Cannon died friday. Born in Little Mountain, she was a daughter of
the late David E. and Emma Elizabeth Boland Cannon. She was retired from
Connie Maxwell Home and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, the
Golden Agers, the Alpha Circle and the Prime Timers.

Surviving are sisters, Verna Pugh, Faye Dominick and Sarah Amick all of
Prosperity, Lucille Brooks of Greenwood and Ollie Berley of Newberry.
