Dorothy Lovelace, retired teacher

Prosperity - Services for Dorothy L. Lovelace, 60, of 2368 Cy Schumpert
Road will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 today at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home of
Newberry. Memorials may be made to the Dorothy L. Lovelace Scholarship
Fund of Mid-Carolina High School.

Mrs. Lovelace, wife of the late Joe Frazier Lovelace, died Tuesday, Oct.
10, 1995. Born in Prosperity, she was a daughter of Lillian Sease
Leaphart and the late Willie Harmon Leaphart. She was a graduate of
Newberry College and retired as a teacher at Mid-Carolina High School.
She was a former Teacher of the Year and a member of Mount Pilgrim
Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Clare Turner of Chapin; her mother of Newberry;
and two grandchildren.
