Adam Shealy

Chapin -- Services for Adam Lewis Shealy, 83, will be held at 11 a.m.
Friday at Mount Horeb Lutheran Church with burial in the church
cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 this eveningat Caughman-Harman Funeral
Home, Chapin Chapel. Memorials may be made to Mount Horeb Lutheran
Church or the American Heart Association.

Mr. Shealy died Tuesday, August 1, 2000. Born in Chapin, he was the
oldest son of the late Jonah T. and Mary Summer Shealy. He was a
lifetime member of Mount Horeb Lutheran Church. He was a World War II
veteran, serving three years in Iceland, South Wales, Germany, France,
Belgium and received a ribbon for Pearl Harbor and two battle stars.

Surviving are his wife, Doris D. Shealy of Chapin; sons and
daughtesr-in-law, Larry W. and Bonnie Shealy of Chapin; Kenneth R. and
Renee M. Shealy of Chapin; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by
sisers, Phoebe Sease, Lula Stuck, Mary Lindler and a brother, Farance
Shealy.
