M. ELLAIN AMICK
White Rock - Services for M. Ellain Amick, 88, will be held at 11 a.m.
Saturday, July 10, 1999 at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 215 St. Thomas
Church Rd., Chapin, with burial in the church cemetery. Active
pallbearers will be Heyward Haltiwanger, Carl David Lindler, Monroe
Lindler, Jimmy Lindler, Norman Monts, Ronald Derrick. Honorary
pallbearers will be members of the Francis Shealy Adult Sunday School
class. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Caughman-Harman
Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. Memorials may be made to St. Thomas
Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Amick, wife of the late Marvin L. Amick, died Thursday, July 8,
1999. Born in Chapin, she was a daughter of the late Charlie F. and
Bessie Ida Shealy Lindler. She was a member of St. Thomas Lutheran
Church and for many years served as assistant organist, organist, choir
member, missionary society member, and Sunday School teacher.
Surviving are her daughters, Miriam Williams of Chapin, Linda Kunkle of
Prosperity; sister, Myrtle Haltiwanger of White Rock; grandchildren,
Tommy sharpe of McKinney, Texas, Millette Elliott of Chapin, Karen Kunkle
of Prosperity, Kevin Kunkle of Chapin; great-grandchildren, Adam Sharpe
of McKinney, Texas, Chantz Elliott of Chapin. She was preceded in death
by a brother, Rev. Horce J.C. Lindler.
