Obituary, The State paper, Friday, June 23, 2000

Loree Bouknight

Irmo -- Service for Loree Lindler Bouknight, 89, will be held at 11 a.m.
Saturday at Shady Grove United Methodist Church, Irmo, with burial in the
church cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at Dunbar Funeral Home,
Dutch Fork Chapel. Memorials may be made to the church.

Mrs. Bouknight died Wednesday, June 21, 2000. Born in Richland Co., she
was a daughter of hte late John W. and Zula McCartha Lindler. She was a
former registered nurse at the Providence Hospital and was a member of
Shady Grove United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United
Methodist Women.

Surviving are her husband, John C. "JC" Bouknight; sons, John "Boogie"
Douknight of Irmo, Donald Bouknight of West Columbia, James "Buddy"
Bouknight, Dwight Bouknight, Doug Bouknight, all of Irmo; daughter,
Barbara Ann Hendrix of Prosperity; brother, Carroll Lindler of columbia;
sisters, Dot Noto, Evelyn Epting, both of Columbia; 17 grandchildren; 16
great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Fred Lindler;
sisters, Callie Mae Lindler, Reba Fort, Gertrude Harris, Olive Eleazer.
