Lean Amick

Little Mountain -- Services for Lena Mayer Amick, 94, will be held at 10
a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2000, at St. Peter Lutheran Church with burial
in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6:30-8 this evening at
McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. The casket will remain at the McSwain-Evans
Funeral Home until placed in the church one hour before the service. The
family is at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Hipp. The family
sugest that those desiring may make memorials to St. Peter Lutheran
Church Cemetery Fund, 900 Dreher Island Rd., Chapin, S.C.

Mrs. Amick, widow of Eddie C. Amick, died Wednesday. Born in Little
Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Jacob William and M. Ella Sease
Mayer and a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Harold R. and Mable H. Amick
Sr. of Columbia; daughter and son-in-law, Madeline and Cornelius Hipp of
Prosperity; six granchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step
great-grandchildren.
