Perry Halfacre
Newberry - Graveside services for Perry E. Halfacre, 79, of 402a3 Hwy
219, will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in Clayton Memorial Unviersalist
Church Cemetery. The family is at the residence where they will receive
friends 5-7:30 today. Memorials may be made to Clayton Memorial
Universalist Church. McSwain-Evans Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Halfacre died Wednesday. Born in Newberry County, he was a son of
the late Perry Frederick and Hattie Sease Halfacre. He was an Army
veteran of World War II and was retired employee of C.W. Anderson Co. He
was a member of Clayton Memorial Universalist Church and the Woodmen of
the World.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Nelle Graham Halfacre; daughters,
Marianne Carlisle of Newberry, Linda Halfacre of Lexington; sister,
Troxelle Senn of Newberry; brothers, Cyril Halfacre, Harry Halfacre, both
of Newberry; grand-daughters, Ann-Marie Carlisle, Jennifer Carlisle.
