AEthelflaeda of Wessex 
AEthelflaeda was born in 0869 in Wessex, England.1 AEthelflaeda's father was Alfred the Great King of England and her mother was Ealhswith of the Gaini of Mercia. Her paternal grandparents were AEthelwulf King of England and Osburga of the Isle of Wight; her maternal grandparents were AEthelred Mucil Ealdorman of the Gainas and Eadburga of Mercia. She had a brother and a sister, named Edward the Elder and Ethelwida (Elfrida). She was the second oldest of the three children. She died in St. Peters, Gloucestershire, England.1 General Notes
