Godfrey of Namur 
Godfrey was born about 1067.1 Godfrey's father was Albert and his mother was Ida of Saxony. His paternal grandparents were Albert II Count of Namur and Regelinde of Lower Lorraine; his maternal grandparents were Bernard II of Saxony and Elica von Schweinfurt. He had a sister named Adelaide. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother named Godfrey. He died on August 19th, 1139.1 General Notes

Godfrey of Namur, b. 1067 or 1068, d. 19 Aug. 1139 as a lay brot her in the abbey of Floreffe; m. ca. 1087 Sibylle, dau. Count Ro ger of Chateau-Porcien, which marriage ended in divorce or annul lment because of her affair with a neighbor while Godfr ey was a way waging war.
