Hugh le Despenser

Hugh was born in 1197 in of Ryhall, Rutlandshire, England.¹ Hugh's father was Thomas le Despenser and his mother was Rohese (le Despenser). His paternal grandfather was Thurstan le Despenser. He had a sister named Rohese. He was the younger of the two children. He died in Sibsey & Aukborough, Lincolnshire.¹
