William Martin Werts 
William Martin was born in 1826.1 William Martin's father was John Werts and his mother was Eva Riser. His maternal grandparents were Martin Riser and Christina Sease. He had a brother and four sisters, named John, Sarah (Sallie), Susan, Christina and Elizabeth. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Jacob Luther and Louisa Catherine. He died at the age of 87 in 1913. He was buried in Prosperity Cemetery, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 1 -
