William TALVAS, Count Of Alencon And Ponthieu 
William's father was Robert II MONTGOMERY, Count Of Alencon and his mother was Agnes Of Ponthieu, Countess Of Ponthieu. His paternal grandparents were Roger De MONTGOMERY, Earl Of Shrewsbury and Mabel De Belesme; his maternal grandparents were Guy I Count Of Ponthieu and Ada. He was an only child. He died on June 30th, 1171.1 General Notes
