William Summer 
William was born on July 12th, 1815.1 William's father was John Adam "Peg Leg" Summer and his mother was Mary Margaret Houseal. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Summer and Eva Margaret (Suss) Seas. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Nicholas, Henry, John Adam, Adam Geiselhardt, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Mary Margaret and Catherine Parr (Auntie). He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 63 on November 24th, 1878. He was buried in Summer Graveyard #1, Pomaria, South Carolina.1 1 -
