Lawrence Shealy 
Lawrence was born on December 22nd, 1891 in Near Chapin, South Carolina.1 Lawrence's father was Jacob Abnet Shealy and his mother was Martha Ella Shealy. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Shealy and Mary Ann "Martha" Ballentine. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Horace, Alonzo, Horace, Jesse, Altha, Jessie, Lula and Leo. He died at the age of 62 on December 7th, 1954 in Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina. He was buried on December 9th, 1954 in Elmwood Cemetery, Columbia, South Carolina.1 1 -
